1. Be on a healthy diet

I think you need motivation to get there, as one friend of mine, Martin, to quit smoking when the boyfriend encourages her to do so. I do not mean that you need a boyfriend to tell you to stop, but you have to fall in love to stay healthy. It’s difficult, but you can try and you should, seek professional help if necessary. No need anymore, but from head to toe, no part of the body that smoking is not harmful.

8. Is your health at risk?

You must find an answer to this one based on your work & home environment, heredity, lifestyle, etc. Once you have been warned of health risks that you harbor, you can minimize the risk that by taking appropriate action. Your doctor can help you with this exercise.

9. Protection is key

If you wear a seat belt, but not safe sex, you use different benchmarks. Tips For Cooking Healthy Food

Just eating healthy is not enough. You also must give special attention to the way you cook. Here are some tips to cook healthy meals so you eat healthy.

o It is important to use less fat in your cooking. The best way to do this is by using 3-R, which means remove, replace and reduce. Where ever possible, you must remove the food items that are important in introducing fat into your diet. A good example of this is the sausage. You can also do away with the sausages in the food you are preparing or you can replace it with turkey kielbasa. If this is not good enough for you, think about reducing the amount of sausage you use, so reducing the fat content in foods.

o Use a mono-saturated fats for cooking. A good example is the olive oil. Avoid saturated fats as much as possible.

o Use less sugar in your recipe. Americans eat more sugar than ever before. A good for healthy cooking is to reduce the amount of sugar. This means less calories. Also avoid sweets, soft drinks and frozen dairy desserts. You should get about 6 percent to 10 percent of your daily caloric intake of sugar by the USFDA. This amount is up to 9 teaspoons a day.

o Switch to whole grains, which will include red rice and wheat flour, among others. Whole grains have more nutrients, fiber and beta carotene.

o Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. They are a good source of essential nutrients, fiber, vitamins and beta carotene. You can introduce fruits and vegetables such as melons, bananas, winter squash, oranges, berries, mustard greens, cabbage, kale, spinach, tomatoes and Brussels sprouts in your recipe.

o Eat lean meats like chicken and turkey breast, pork tenderloin, ground sirloin, center cut pork loin and extra lean ham. Limiting only serve for 3 to 4 ounces per person.
